& CUTAWAY CREEK GOLLY
Holly & Golly are full siblings
Registered: EIDSA (English & Irish Donkey Society of Australia)
Holly DOB: 23/6/02
Golly DOB: 8/8/03
Both are 9.3hh
Sire: Chiquillo Gilbert
Dam: Karinya Park Folly
Holly & Golly are devoted to each other which is sweet but can be a bit of a problem. A huge problem actually. They are both lovely gentle donkeys, endlessly curious and very 'helpful'.
They both long rein and Holly has been ridden lightly. She will soon be tried in a sulky. They make the most wonderful donkey noises.

PEPI & ROSCO
Pepi & Rosco are half brothers
Pepi DOB: 22/7/03
Rosco DOB: 31/8/03
Pep's mum is Poppy, Rosco's mum is Tea Rose.
Their sire is Ambrose.
When I went to collect these two, they were literally dragged away from their mums and onto my float. Poor babies. Once home I thought I'd allow them to leave the float when they chose, but they were still there the next morning. So sad. Luckily they had each other.

DONKEY POEM
It has been several years now since a little girl was born.
A fuzzy angel ball of fluff to brave the cold, cold morn.
Four tiny perfect baby hooves of that you can be sure.
And ears a-reaching for the sky who could ask for any more?
And Holly was her name.
Time wanders on a year or so as time so often does.
And Holly's mummy dearest gave her a brother to love.
A precious baby brother so cute and so petite.
With wool like a yak.
Ears like sails.
And those same four dainty feet.
And they called him Golly.
Holly and Golly were best of mates, the bestest mates could be.
And so it was in that sweet state they found their way to me.
Just imagine how they felt when on that fateful day.
They were bundled on a horse float and driven far away.
Holly and Golly arrived that day and backed out of the float.
Before they worked out what was what they met two other blokes.
Two confused and anxious fellows, troubled in their souls.
Met Holly and brother Golly and soon they became whole.
And so the donkey troupe was formed, the donkey shop quartet.
The four donkeys of the Apocalypse, an imperfectly matched, simply adorable.
and often raucous set.
"Holly, Golly, Pepi, Rosco" the cry echoes across the land.
Mrs Holly Honk, Golly Gosh Gumboot Charlie Horse, Pepsi Cola and Rosco Man.
